WHAT DOES WATERPROOF JEWELLERY ACTUALLY MEAN?

At LUNE, we believe jewellery is meant to be worn.

Our waterproof pieces are designed to handle everyday water exposure, so you don't have to take them off every time you wash your hands, shower or get caught in the rain.

And yes — you can also wear your LUNE jewellery in the pool or in the sea.

However, if you want to take extra care of your jewellery and keep it looking beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before prolonged water exposure.

WHY?

Many of our pieces feature sparkling stones that are carefully secured into the jewellery. With prolonged or repeated exposure to water, the materials holding the stones in place can gradually be affected.

Over time, this can increase the chance of individual stones becoming loose or falling out.

So while your jewellery can absolutely handle water, less exposure means more longevity.

You don't need to worry if your jewellery gets wet. Simply dry it afterwards and, when possible, give your pieces a little break from prolonged water exposure.

KEEPING YOUR LUNE JEWELLERY BEAUTIFUL

A little care can make a big difference.

Apply perfume, creams and skincare before putting your jewellery on, and wipe your pieces gently with a soft microfiber cloth after wearing them.

When you're not wearing your jewellery, keep it safely in your LUNE jewellery bag and box.

Because waterproof doesn't mean you have to treat your jewellery like it can never age.
